David Robbins has been a professional entertainer, impersonator, and recording artist for over ten years. He has headlined various shows throughout the U.S. and Canada for audiences of more than 20,000. David has a powerful and richly expressive voice; his genius for imitation is devastatingly accurate. He has performed with; Aretha Franklin, The Contours, The Fifth Dimension, Jr. Walker and the All Stars, and The Reflections. David had also appeared on the CBS Miss U.S.A. State Pageant, PM Magazine, and Lifestyle.
Freedom Hall is thrilled to present LIVE music in our Nathan Manilow theatre! We have so many great performers and a variety of genres this season. We start the season with Wonderlove - The Stevie Wonder Experience, followed by American Prayer - Doors Tribute Band, and Candlelight Jazz - Music of Grover Washington, Jr. Our holiday shows include Masters of Soul, always a holiday favorite, and Johnny Mathis Christmas.
Freedom Hall kicks off 2024 with Melody Angel - Chicago Rock & Blues, Big Suit - Tribute to Talking Heads, Hollywood Swinging - Tribute to Kool & the Gang, and Terisa Griffin - The Songbird of Soul. The Lotus Kings - An All-Star Tribute to Santana are back by popular demand, as well as Best of Broadway - Featuring Nancy Hays. We will close our 2023-2024 season with Better Together presents Sweet Home: Chicago Legends of Jazz, Blues, and Soul.
