An Evening with BIG SUIT… A Tribute to TALKING HEADS BIG SUIT is a collective of nine musicians drawn to the cerebral adventures, infectious rhythms, and pioneering music known to the world as Talking Heads. BIG SUIT began when a Chicago-area producer reached out to Deacon Blues founder Steven Kikoen with a request to form a Salute to the prolific group.
Freedom Hall is thrilled to present LIVE music in our Nathan Manilow theatre! We have so many great performers and a variety of genres this season. We start the season with Wonderlove - The Stevie Wonder Experience, followed by American Prayer - Doors Tribute Band, and Candlelight Jazz - Music of Grover Washington, Jr. Our holiday shows include Masters of Soul, always a holiday favorite, and Johnny Mathis Christmas.
Freedom Hall kicks off 2024 with Melody Angel - Chicago Rock & Blues, Big Suit - Tribute to Talking Heads, Hollywood Swinging - Tribute to Kool & the Gang, and Terisa Griffin - The Songbird of Soul. The Lotus Kings - An All-Star Tribute to Santana are back by popular demand, as well as Best of Broadway - Featuring Nancy Hays. We will close our 2023-2024 season with Better Together presents Sweet Home: Chicago Legends of Jazz, Blues, and Soul.
